At first I thought the movie was boring because it's been almost an hour and still haven't seen a scary part. The running time is pretty long and it was just probably after an hour and a half that I tried to stop my eyes from closing.
The movie is creepy and all those vampire haunting is heart-stopping.

Plot Summary
Ben Mears, a writer returns to the small Maine town of Jerusalem's Lot (also known as Salem's Lot), where he spent the first few years of his life, to write a book. After attacking the priest Donald Callahan (James Cromwell) in a homeless shelter and falling with him from the window of a high floor on the street, the successful writer Ben Mears (Rob Lowe) tells his motives to his nurse in the hospital. However, he realizes that evil lives in 'Salem's Lot, and the place is crowded of vampires.
