Goodbye Chenny and Leslie

So today is Chenny and Leslie's last day in ILDA. Many have left already. ILDA isn't a bad company but I say it's not really a company where you would like to stay for long. Of course there are various reasons why many employees left the company but I guess I know at least two very good reasons why they left. (sigh)
Well, I guess sometimes we gotta take chances. We gotta leave our comfort zone and venture. Say life is too short not to take any adventures.

rainy and gloomy Sunday

Told myself to go to church but then didn't do it. Spent the whole day at home watching movies: The Wedding Singer, Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian, this movie about a mermaid but haven't caught the title, Miss Potter and Sideways.
Not quite a day I guess.
Well I guess you can say that my life is pretty boring. Boring, huh.

Met Gina today and we shopped for groceries. I like shopping save for shopping for groceries which I think not really enjoyable to do unless there's someone who will carry those heavy stuff. There wasn't even a kind soul in the "jeep" who helped me carry my stuff. I thought I was going to stumble when I got off the "jeep". GLad I was able to manage it till I got to the house.

Met Jam and Ara in PowerBooks today. Ara and I are thinking of resigning by the end of July (though Ara is pretty sure of resigning). Oh God! I'm so unsure of what to do. Lost and unsure. Ah, what am I supposed to do?
Maybe I'm a bit scared of starting anew and not sure if I'll get a job in I.W.P.
I'm worried and nervous.
I've already told my sister (Jasmine) about it and got an affirmative advice.
I don't know what to do... really.

be cautious

Everything went well today. I remember the incident last night while riding the jeep on the way to Guadalupe. There was this man sitting right next to me looking so suspicious. I felt like my heart was pumping so fast but in spite of it I kept chatting with my friends but was also wary of this freak beside me. I think he's a thief. When I glanced on his direction I saw his hand on the woman's bag but he immediately removed it when he saw me. I was just so relieved when we got off the jeep and nothing bad happened.
Well, I guess I'll be more careful than before. Be cautious!

adobo

I cooked pork adobo this morning. I wanted to try a different adobo - the one that's different from the usual adobo that we do at home.
Well I guess the taste wasn't awful at all.
Glad the sky is clear now. No sign of rain for today.

Frank

The damage brought by the typhoon was really huge especially in Iloilo City. I saw the news and that was really horrible. It was a terrible picture especially when I saw this old woman being rescued.
In spite of it all, I'm just thankful that everyone at home is just fine. I think a lot of areas are affected. I just can't believe that many places are still covered by water.
The flood caused by the typhoon was just horrible.
It's been two days already since we don't have electricity. *** sigh ***

It's been raining all day due to typhoon Frank. Thank God things are fine here in our place except that we're experiencing a blackout (along with our neighborhood).
Went to Market Market to shop for grocery and I also saw this dress. Thought it was nice so I bought it too.
Inside the mall, people look oblivious to the storm outside.
Ah, a day without electricity is pretty difficult.

keeping the promise

Met Jeong Hye and her 3 kids at the Centennial Airport this afternoon. I was glad to see her. I was amazed on how she was able to travel with her 3 kids all alone (Yuna - 4 years old; Yu Bin - 3 years old; and Han Bit - 4 months old). You just can't imagine how she carried Han Bit on her back just like a backpack. Amazing!
I actually never thought I would meet her at the airport. I didn't really actually promise that I'll meet her there - afraid I might not be able to keep it. Thanks to Gina because she went with me to the airport.
It's a good day in spite of the bad weather and the storm that the country is experiencing.
Hope the weather will be real fine tomorrow.

to go or not to go

I was like having a second thought this morning whether to meet Jeong Hye at the airport tomorrow. I felt kinda lazy and wasn't in the mood for a little adventure. I felt that it's a bit of a hassle but a part of me wanted to go. I guess I would be guilty forever if I let her down. I know she is looking forward to meet me. I was guilt-stricken when I talked to her on the phone this evening and she asked me to promise her that I will meet her at the airport.
Guess Gina is an angel because she offered to come with me tomorrow. Of course I was excited with the idea.
I think it will be real nice to see her and her kids tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

You sit by the window. Lift the cup and take a sip only to realize that somebody forgot to put the sugar.
Too lazy to go for it, you somehow struggle through that sugarless cup.
Till you discover undissolved sugar crystals sitting at the bottom...
That's how life is. We sometimes forget to make an effort to value what's around us. Look around. Maybe the sweetness you are looking for is closer than you think.

Can't help but be annoyed by Leslie today. She's such a pervert. How pathetic! The thing with her is when you're being nice to her she takes advantage and she has all this nasty jokes. She's really annoying! I even feel sorry for her behaviour. Pathetic!
I have nothing against homosexuals but I guess they (those who don't have self-respect) should show respect to themselves and to others so to avoid name callings and bad impression.

It's been a year since I bought my phone for Php12,500. So glad I still have it till now.

the pain

I can't believe I was able to sleep before 8 o'clock strikes last night. How I loved it. It's so unusual for me to sleep before 12 because I'm use of sleeping late.
This isn't really a good day. I'm being attacked by this 'occasional pain'.

gift hunting

I guess it's been a tiring day. Gina and I walked our way from Landmark to Makati Med. We never had a long walk before so we enjoyed the lazy afternoon walk. Good thing, the tall buildings along the way provided us with shade so the weather wasn't a problem.
Anyway, we finally found a wedding gift for Mhyre. We got this cute Chinese Tea set. We haven't bought the one that she requested for but anyway hope she still likes it.

It's Friday the 13th! So what's so special about this day? A day which some people are scared of...but maybe not anymore.

Everything just went fine today. Jamilla and Abi dropped by the office. Also saw AJ at the building.
Will look for a gift for Mhyre tomorrow.

so surprising

Life's full of surprises and unexpected things. Just like today, I received an e-mail from a person whom I used to exchange emails with, 8 years or more ago. Isn't it surprising?
I can't even remember when I knew this person but I knew it's been a long time and after a few exchanging of emails we lost touch of each other but it's so surprising to receive an email from him after a long years.

Team Building

Had a team building in Bonifacio Heights in Taguig. It was okay and maybe it wasn't really great because not everyone attended.

Feeling so tired today. I slept around three AM yesterday and woke up at nine...umm... not enough sleep. Wanna get a good sleep tonight for tomorrow is Mhyre's wedding.

A nice philosophy in life:

Everything always ends up alright. If things are not alright, then it's not yet the end.

A Week In The Life of Me: Day 7

it started...
So I was actually a bit irritated for some reasons when I woke up this morning.
It was a lazy Sunday morning.



somewhere in between...
Had a short nap before I headed to the mall in search for a dress and shoes. There's this dress that I saw a week ago and if I haven't found something for the wedding till Monday then I might choose that one.
Anyway, I was at least glad that I found a pair of shoes.hmp...
I missed the church again. Am I too bad?

Spent the night watching TV and darn I wanted to sleep early but have a hard time sleeping again.
